How does it work?
The Insulwrap FR (Stopaq brand) polyisobutene coating is designed as the perfect vapor barrier for industrial, petro-chemical, building and HVAC CUI systems. It combines a fully amorphous and non-reactive polyisobutene base coating with an aluminum/polyester laminate backing, allowing it to bond to all types of materials, including Aerogel, foams, cladding, direct-to-metal, plastics, concrete, and more.
Insulwrap FR is:
- Designed to seal insulation materials
- Useable as a standalone insulation sealing solution or as part of a system
- A Fire-retardant vapor barrier
- Available from IESG’s Houston warehouse in rolls of 33′ x 4″, 12″, or 24″ wide
