Easy·Qote VE Basecoat is a unique cold applied, noncrosslinking, non-crystalline, monolithic applied viscous polymer coating based on pure homopolymer Polyisobutene. It can be used on uncoated metallic surfaces and as repair of existing coatings in atmospheric services. It is an environmentally safe and worker-friendly alternative to traditionally coating systems where surface preparation, mobilization and labour costs are far more expensive. Easy·Qote VE Basecoat is a corrosion preventative coating material that only requires minimum surface preparation in order to achieve excellent adhesion to various substrates like carbon steel, stainless steel, many types of existing protective paint systems, polymeric substrates like PE and PP, and primed concrete. It has a non-woven backing that can be coated with various types of top coats.
