Buried Pipelines
For Below Ground Protection
Buried pipelines are susceptible to corrosion from prolonged exposure to soil conditions. Without proper protection, corrosion can lead to leaks, structural failures, and costly repairs.
PIB Wrappinbands are self-healing and require minimal surface prep and no primers. No heavy equipment or specialized Personal Protective Equipment is needed. Soil conditions and stresses are no longer an issue, extending the service life of buried pipelines, reducing maintenance costs, and preventing leaks or failures.

Pipelines at soil-to-air transitions are vulnerable to corrosion, mechanical damage, and environmental stress due to exposure to both underground and atmospheric conditions.

Flanges and Valves
For Above and Below Ground Protection
Flanges and valves are high-risk areas for corrosion due to complex geometries, harsh environments, and the presence of crevices where moisture and contaminants can accumulate.
PIB coatings are impermeable to water and oxygen, are moldable to different geometries, and require minimal surface preparation (SSPC-SP-2/SP-3). With an 30+ year service life, PIB-coated flanges and valves reduce maintenance costs and the risk of system failures.
